Blue Aero Aviation offers basic and customized services including, but not limited to:

  • Annual inspections
  • Pre-buy inspections
  • Oil and filter changes

2025 Rates

Standard Shop Rate: $150.00 per hour

Annual Inspection Flat Rates:
The Annual inspection is quoted on a flat rate for the inspection. The annual will commence upon customer delivering the aircraft, keys, all maintenance logs, AD logs, STC documents, service manuals, and ICAs that go with the STC. The following items are included in the flat rate.

  1. One hour of AD research (additional research will be at shop rate, first annual will be 4 hours)
  2. Clean, gap, test, rotate spark plugs
  3. Pre and Post run up for systems check
  4. Compression check
  5. Servicing battery
  6. Oil and filter change (labor only)
  7. Air filter change (labor only)
  8. Lubrication and servicing of pulleys, hinges and bell cranks
  9. Cleaning, inspection and repacking of wheel bearings
  10. Landing gear extension/retraction test if required
  11. Mag to engine timing
  12. Removal and installation of inspection panels and interior as necessary for inspection
  13. ELT test and inspection per FAR 91.207d
  14. Inspection of aircraft

Any special inspections for continued airworthiness per an installed STC, FAA form 337, Airworthiness Directive “AD” will be charged standard hourly rate.

Any defects found during the inspection that require repair will be charged at the standard shop rate. No work will commence until the estimate for the defects/parts is approved.

  • Diamond DA20 14 hours – $2100
